120 Days. Wolf pumpkin produces the most incredible handle you have ever seen. Its 15 to 25 lb. round to oblate shaped fruit has a deep orange color with moderate ribs and very thick, long, firmly attached handles. The flesh thickness is excellent, which helps to prevent flat-sided fruit and makes them deceivingly heavy for their size. Wolf will produce a range of sizes and shapes, but all will have the trademark handle. Note: Improper plant spacing in the field or higher than recommended plant populations can cause reduced fruit set. Final spacing should be at least 6 feet in the row and 12 feet between the rows giving an approximate spacing of 72 square feet per hill or set of two plants. (P.V.P. applied for.)
