Micro Mat Confetti has a water holding capacity superior to most other hydroponic mediums which makes it more forgiving with respect to forgetting to check water. 1 Lb of confetti when wet with 3 lbs of water (approx 6 cups) will yield approximately 6.5 quarts of grow medium. If used in standard sized trays: 1 lb of confetti provide enough medium for a maximum of SIX 10x20 Trays, TWELVE 10x10 Trays and THIRTY THREE 4x4 tray inserts.
